Created Feature: Remove spaces from hash string [31787]

Often hashes are represented in two character sets with white space between them. To make life easier when hashing a file, or text, devise a way to remove this white space.

I first thought of a tool menu to "remove white space", this is too cumbersome. Just add it as an option on the option form to removed white space from hash values. This can be added to the same event already firing for new/updated values

BD File Hash loaded on 64 bit Windows 7.

Dragging a file onto the form does not show the 'copy' cursor and does not fire the drag and drop events.

This has been included in Release 1.1.2, enjoy!

Under the tools menu is a selection to send the current hash to Virustool.com. Your Internet Explorer application will open and send a request to check the file in their database.

Project Description
BD File Hash is a convenient file hashing and hash compare tool for Windows which currently works with MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 algorithms.

The goal behind BD File Hash is to have a super simple to use hashing tool which doesn't force you to copy/paste hash strings between documents and applications to match them.

Functionality List

Looking for your help!
There have been inquiries on adding a batch mode to BD File Hash. I certainly understand the usefulness of such a feature, I am just not positive on the most useful way to implement it. A few thoughts:

What types of outputs, CSV, Excel, tab delimited, MS Access, other db file?
Hash a whole directory of files to a text file?
Compare a directory of files with a file of hashes?
compare two directories?

Suggestions and comments will be helpful to create this new feature. If you have any ideas or suggestions please add them to work item, Batch Mode Hashing, which is being used to manage this task or discuss the options in discussion Methods to add batch hashing mode.

Virustotal is a service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines.

Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 is required to run this application. You will need to install this framework prior to using the application. The current installer is not configured to install the framework if is missing. This will be added in a future release. Though I had this issue happen once, I am unable to reproduce it at this time.

Oh, I see that may not work as there is a report of many different scanning engines results.
